Uninsured services
NEW THIS YEAR: We are teaming up with PatientSERV this year to stream line this process.
As you know, the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) pays for most of your medical visits and needs.
Unfortunately, we do not get compensated by OHIP for most administrative services, and some medical procedures. We still provide these services to our patients but payment has become a patient responsibility.
To make it convenient for the majority of patients who use them, an OPTIONAL Annual Block Fee is available. This option is not meant to impose financial hardship and no preferential treatment is given to those who choose to participate.

An annual block fee is a subscription to a year's worth of services that are not covered by OHIP. You are not obligated to participate in the block fee, and those who do not participate can pay for each service individually.

If you feel that a block fee is a good fit for you, please follow the instructions provided by PatientSERV. They will reach out to individual patients and families shortly.
They are a third party service approved by the Ontario Medical organization to assist physicians with managing uninsured fees.
